Continue Your Journey

Books, podcasts and resources to help you explore the First World War

A question I'm often asked at the end of a tour is, "What should I read next?" These are some of the books, podcasts and online resources I've found most informative over the years. Whether you're new to the Western Front or looking to delve deeper into a particular battle, I hope you'll find something here to continue your journey.

A note about buying books

Many of these books are available second-hand and are well worth seeking out. Where possible I've linked to publishers or independent booksellers rather than large online retailers. Buying pre-owned copies is also a great way to discover excellent history books at a lower cost.
