Service Description

Begin with a pickup in Ypres before heading to the iconic battlefields of the Ypres Salient. Visit Essex Farm Cemetery and Dressing Station, where you'll learn about the casualty system and the story behind In Flanders Fields. Explore the preserved Yorkshire Trench and Dug-out before gaining a different perspective at Langemark German Military Cemetery. Continue to the Brooding Soldier Memorial to discover the first large-scale gas attacks, then travel through the Passchendaele battlefields to Tyne Cot Cemetery, the largest Commonwealth war cemetery in the world. After a lunch break, visit Hill 60 and the Caterpillar Crater to uncover the remarkable story of the underground mining war and the Battle of Messines. Finish the day at the award-winning Passchendaele Museum, where immersive exhibits bring the Third Battle of Ypres vividly to life. Throughout the tour, we combine historical context with personal stories to provide a balanced and engaging understanding of the First World War from both the Allied and German perspectives.
